Minister Jim O’Callaghan and Minister Norma Foley Visit Tralee Law Centre

The Legal Aid Board was pleased to welcome Minister Jim O Callaghan TD and Minister Norma Foley TD to its Tralee Law Centre.

Located in the heart of Tralee, the Centre plays a key role in supporting individuals and families through legal advice and representation. The Centre provides a legal aid service to those who qualify, in areas such as domestic violence, divorce, and access to children.

Speaking during the visit, Legal Aid Board CEO Joan Crawford said:

“We are proud of the work done every day by our colleagues in Tralee and throughout the country. Legal aid is a cornerstone of access to justice – and this Centre demonstrates how accessible, community-based services can make a real difference to people’s lives. Each case resolved and each person supported signifies the importance of what we do, and the Tralee Law Centre helps on average just under 400 people per year.”

During their visit, Minister Jim O Callaghan TD and Minister Norma Foley TD met with staff and were given an overview of the vital legal aid services available at the Centre.
