Separation

A Separation Agreement is a legally binding written contract between spouses agreeing on things such as the family home, arrangements for children, finances and money, assets and pensions.
Judicial Separation results in a deed of separation which is is a court order made by a judge setting out the terms by which you no longer live together as a married couple. This court order can include things such as the family home, arrangements for children, finances and money, assets and pensions.
Neither a separation agreement or deed of separation allow parties to remarry.
